I rode it on Friday and I'd say about 80% is rideable, The trailhead through the 745 or 754 (whatever its called) has some muddy spots, but it was nice other then that

Hey Bdan,
Trailhead through 754 is half the trail, was it real tacky or just a mess. Limeys loop gets pretty muddy so does expert. Is it rideable you think???

well I wasn't aware of expert loop as getting pretty muddy, but now that I think of it....I would say that the trail is pretty much ready to be ridden, there were only a few tacky spots. Tuesday night ride anyone

I rode Novi today and I am glad to report I had a great ride!!!!!! I would suggest not riding 754 for a bit due to it being a tad bit tacky and still leaving tracks,but not bad at all just a little sloppy. The rest is very rideable. There are tacky spots at the bottom of down hills but nothing you wouldn't encounter after a rain at the farm. There's a downfall about 3/4 of the way in the swamp loop and I did a temp reroute to the right of the fall till we can get that cleared. The top log is missing on the log pile after the second bridge in the back of the 754 but still crossable. I'm going to PM Kevin(Trail Co.) & Dave (Asst. Trail Co.) and have one of them(Dave) ride it and give it the official blessing.

Has anyone mentioned the large tree down on the trail? Its about halfway through, a little after the large log pile. Sorry, I don't know the trail well enough to be more specific. Besides that, the trail is in great shape. Can't say the same for the woods itself though. Garlic mustard, as far as the eye can see. The floor is carpeted with new seedlings.

Scot, is that where I did the reroute to the right of it??? If it is Kevin decided that the reroute works better when Flynn and I were out there last week.

Rode today at lunch...it was a little muddy and slick but otherwise a good time. That was my first time on the trail since I worked there back in the day...Nice work getting that trail going guys!

If you're talking about after last nights rain then the trail is great. But I heard it's going to rain tonight. But you know since you're a regular Tues Night Rider how to ride this beech wet!!!!

Rode tonight WITH LIGHTS ON for a change. Trail is 95% perfect, 5% RAPIDLY EXPANDING MUD PITS! The river is up very high, and washing away some of the shoreline that was there, and causing LOTS OF MUD at the 754 bridges. But, we had fun.

The trail is ridable. The first loop and the tiny section with the little rooted uphillright before the expert is a no go due to DEEP pizza cutters. There are two huge trees down in the expert at the same spot. Do not try a reroute PLEASE carry your bikes over them. There are some serious mud pits after the bridge coming out of the 754. We did not due the PBR(last loop) since we knew that it would be muddy so I guess it's 75% rideable. We did move some downfall and cleared sticks and stuff. Kevin and Shanman was doing some fill in after the ride.

Hockeydaddy's report was right on. I just rode the trail this afternoon and I would say it's not "muddy", it's just "soft" in a few sections. The area with the double down trees in the expert loop still needs to be walked over and be cautious approaching the bridges.

One thing not mentioned above is the dip by the uprooted tree. I'm not sure the official name, but it has a log ramp right before it and then you scoot through the dip and the tree is on your left hand side. Either take the official bypass or you'll be taking a mudbath. I'd guess it's at least 2-3 feet deep and still filled with water.

Tomorrow should be a great day. Get out there and ride!!
