Lost a pair of Fiskars hand pruners off the tractor last week on the east loop. If anybody finds them please let me know. Hate to find them with the mower next time out or worse with a bike tire if you get out of the track.

East loop all mowed. West loop half complete. Some invasive species removal too. Ionia do great in the fall. Really prime time.

Rest of west loop mowed. Some trimming done too. Trail conditioner sprayed on 3/4 of east loop to try and reclaim the dirt from the grass.

Four trees cut off the trail today. Smooth sailing now.

16ft more board walk on the west loop in eternally mud area. Plus small adjustment/realignment to remove 90 degree turn and improve flow.

All downed trees cleared as of 2nd of December. Riding is fast. Almost no frost crunchies that slow you down. Trail looks great. You can see everywhere with no foliage.

Some trails can't be ridden on warm days like today (above freezing) but Ionia can be! Little grease in some warmer locations but that is just the vegetative matter broken down on the trail. Below that hard packed gravel supports you.
Little worry of leaving ruts even with my "skinny" tired bike a Trek Fuel.
Trail was fast and clear.

Finally got out this week and rode the western loop, it was in great shape with only a few small mud spots and one tree down that you have to dismount for (although there was a feeble attempt at a log over off trail). It's just past the switchback and before the new boardwalk that was installed last year - about the width of a soccer ball for reference.
