Im down to help out anytime this weekend other than Sunday morning. Free Sunday after about 3 or 4pm. I donr have much for tools though as the apartment life doesn't really call for them lol. Maybe I should ask for a nice weekwacker for my birthday ;)

Either way let me know what day you all want to head out. I am free today as well.

How about we meet up at 10:00 saturday morning.

I have a weed whip volunteer coming and we can follow or walk ahead with clippers, pruners, or saw, and a follow behind with a rake to clean up some of the mess.

Long sleeves, pants, gloves and water recommended.

Some clearing was done last weekend. Thank you to John, Matt and Charles.

We did a lap of the second half of Blue and second half of Red, clearing a lot of bigger shrubs and such that were crowding the trail and there will be more basic trimming needed as the growing season is in full effect.

Still a little wet with puddles throughout.

A couple trees down, lots of faceslappers and generally overgrown in spots. One tree early on blue and a small one late on red. Considering a lap around blue Sunday morning with a whip, saw and some pruners.

Did some clearing on blue today. Cut out the tree and trimmed some faceslappers. Whip wouldn't start, so still overgrown down low.

Trimmed all three loops today. They aren't pristine but I got rid of lots of slappers and scrapers and a couple of helmet bonkers...

...with rain in the forecast the stuff will probably grow back in before it's rideable again!

I am also curious about the trail conditions? It rained a bit today also and once again fear a good say to ride was just rained on.

Trail was pretty wet on Sunday when I was out there for a walk and small project. Standing water in numerous places.

So any hopes of a ride later today? Or will we need to wait a couple of days?

Since it rained once again last night I would say give it at least one more day, tomorrow or friday should be good to ride I hope.
