Anyone know the trail conditions? I'm in GR and would like to ride this in the morning. I know rain came through today (June 4th) so I am not sure if it is good to go or not. If not, I'll head over to Luton or Cannonsburg State Game Area. Thanks!

You weren't kidding. Rode it today. Loved every second of it. Even though the climbs were somewhat long compared to other trails, they were steady and gradual (red direction). Did about half the obstacles, left the ground a couple of times, went slower, but had a blast.

If Merrell is the future of trail building in Michigan, we have a lot to look forward to with new trails.

Tree(s) down at marker # 10. The section that runs next to the road behind the dump. A big clump of pines fell over.

Trail was pretty wet today, rocks and roots were pretty slick. The normal wet spots were real wet and sloppy. Probly take a few days without rain to get dry again
why did they say I needed this degree?

How is the trail looking for a Thursday night ride?
It's not your strength or skill. It's your level of commitment.

be a few soft spots in the normally wet areas, but other than those short sections it should be really good

Facebook page says Merrell, Luton, and the CSGA trails are closed today. Try the ski area tonight instead. The ski area is grilling burgers & hot dogs/brats and has beverages for sale for a reasonable cost Tuesday nights from 6-9 thru the month of July.

Planning on coming up and riding this afternoon but wondering how last night's rain impacted the trail. Any report would be appreciated.

Very little rain with the storms, most went SW of Rockford, should be good.
