I was here a few days back and got my workout in lifting the bike over all the down trees but none of that this time. Thanks for keeping this trail rocking guys. Oh also, wanted to mention that my only issues with winter riding are cold toes and fingers. The rest of me is always perfectly fine, temperature-wise. This year I bought a pair of toe-warmers to put OVER my shoe covers AND I'm using toe-grabber adhesive warmers I stick to my toes. Now my toes are nice and toasty almost the entire ride. I learned a trick for my fingers. I wear a thin pair of gloves then stick a toe warmer to the back of my hands, then insert hands into thicker gloves. While my finger tips do still start off cold after 10 minutes or so the heat from the warmer seems to circulate down into the fingers and then I'm good for the rest of the ride.
