A lot of people still park on the road where the stop sign used to be. I bet most don't even know there is a parking lot a stone's throw from where the stop sign used to be.

That, and the road gets really skinny (especially when overgrown in midsummer). Is there any way to widen the road a tiny bit?

I have often thought about getting the road trimmed back as well. I will look into it.

There is a plan to clear and widen the road out at Bass. It might not be until spring. They will be cutting back the Autumn Olive and treating the stumps to prevent the regrowth since Autumn Olive is an invasive species.

What's the status on bass river? Is it flooded from the river at all? I've never been there before, and I want to take some friends there who just got into mountain biking.

I was there last night, only one tree blocking a trail and it was pretty dry. All in all a good ride.

I rode the trail Saturday and it is in need of some brush trimming. Can anyone go out and trim stuff or do we need permission?

Rode Bass River today. Other than a couple of trees blocking the south side of the trail it was pretty good. The entire trail was covered with leaves as to be expected which if you did not know the trail you could get confused at certain points. But all-in-all a good ride. Ground still hard and only a few soft spots.
