Whats the format of the ride? High school to the trailhead? Time wise, how long is the ride? Lights required?

Thanks Corey

We ride north on Sheldon to the pedestrian entrance, we enter there and do the Pines, Snake, Rollercoaster, and Back Nine (there are several stops mixed in to re-group). We then often do a "bonus lap" of the Pines, then head back to the pedestrian entrance and back to the High School. Total time is approximately 1.5 hours. Starting this week, lights are probably a very good idea. It will be shortly after sunset by the time we get back. HTH. :D

Just started raining in Rochester. At least here at my house a half mile south of the high school.

I also hear thunder rumbling.

I'm out... Not weather related... Curriculum night for the little ones...

It was sunny when I got to the High School. Within 15 minutes, it was getting dark. Rain and wind followed shortly thereafter.

Was going to try to make this week my return to the group, but it looked like this thread was dead. Plus I wound up too busy. Looks like, weather permitting, next week for sure. Did anyone go tonight?

About 15 tonight. Thread may not always be active, but the ride is. Even in winter there will be 2 to 5 of us.

There's probably what... only maybe 2-3 weeks in winter where people won't ride? These are either the ultra-bitter-cold days, slushy/sloppy ones (often replaced with an MOT ride), or those where there's 6" of snow dumped in one go and it's too hard to get there.
