The only major problem was two 12 inch or so diameter dead trees down about 100 yards to the right of the paved path to the baseball field parking lot. By to the right I mean if you were riding up the paved path toward the parking lot. I would have taken pics and been more specific but we were on a tight time schedule. I hope that helps the TC's.

Thank you!! That makes it much easier,I was up north this past weekend or I would have taken care of them. I will let
Aaron knew he may be able to cut them out today. If not I won't ba able to take care of them till the weekend.

I hope the trail survives today's rain. River was way up as I drove past Heritage Park at 7:30 this am.

Lets hope so, it was starting to dry out nicely. It should be alright, that system has passed and the other
system is not due to get here till later in the day.

Walked the first mile from the Edison entrance this evening (before the rain started). The soil was tacky but it wouldn't take much to make it gooey. Cleared some deadfall about 1/4 mile in, otherwise it was all clear as far as I went. Some friends riding in from the other end said there was a big tree down on the trail, but didn't say (or couldn't tell) exactly where.

Thanks for the report. If anyone rides the trail, and can tell me where that deadfall is at it would be great.
It saves Aaron and I a lot of time and energy not having to go searching for it.

The big tree is right after the straigtaway leading away from the power station (going towards the edison corridor).. that whole half of the trail is in good shape, but the other half from the Crane to m 53 is not so good... I walked a few spots, then gave up and rode pavement. I had one of those escape from stress rides going on last night- really needed the just ride therapy... What do people that don't ride do to stay sane???

Thanks 2slo :icon_thumleft: , I will take care of it this weekend. Aaron and I really do
appreciate when all of you riders give us specific deadfall locations, It makes it sooo much easier for us.
Now instead having to park at Edison Ct, Farmstead or Jaycee and search for it. I can park at Petrus Ct. hike in,
and head directly to the deadfall and take care of it. Like all of you, we only have so much free time. Thanks everyone!

Three small trees down (or 1 tree w/ 3 trunks) just past the skills area coming from the Edison corridor- skills area/ logpile/ tight turn/ trees down. Not too dangerous and about 2" trunks. Hand sawable but that would be 6 cuts man... I didn't have one with me. only wet area near the crane and that bridge by it.

There are multiple downed trees right before the whoops section. I didn't venture in any further due to the downpour of rain I got caught in on Thursday night.

Big log down right in the whoops, trail in great shape other that that, couple puddles by the normal spots... big log down between jaycee and the s downhill to the bridge- can be ridden just fine, might be east to roll down the hill with 3 guys though.
Hoiw do you post a photo here?

Post pics like this^
This is the 1 in the whoops and there's a big chunk of log broke off where the leaner fell last week on the ridge. Looks like a prime piece for a skinny or ramp though;-)

Thanks everyone for posting up where the deadfalls are. I will get out this week to take care of them.
Does anyone know if the small deadfalls by the skills area are still there, or did someone take care them?
