I got to ride this for the first time this last Friday. I just wanted to give kudos for a first class trail. From the signage out front to find the trail, the in-trail markers and maps, and most importantly the trail itself. The ride was just awesome and I can't wait to get back to that side of the state to ride again. Well done!

I lost a park tool kit on the trail last night, let me know if anyone found it. I'd appreciate it.

Track was busy, a bit dusty, and otherwise fantastic today.

If you've ridden Merrell, but not the new section, you haven't really ridden it. The beauty is that you can add in to the existing loops. It's not just a different option. There is a sweet section of consecutive tabletops in the Red direction, and a couple other features that can be sent. It *felt* slightly biased towards climbing overall, so I can't help but wonder if this part might be even better on a yellow day?

Curious if Richmond park stuff is similar, or if the tables are generally bigger over there?

Hit the boulder gap and LogNess Monster(the right line with the drop) for the first time today. Fun little bits. Hats off to the WMMBA once again. You guys rock.

Oh, I lost some amber glasses out there today. If you find them, keep them, or toss 'em. They're cheap.

i rode it saturday (yellow) and felt it was more climbing than descending. my tank was on E from motocrossing the day before for the first time in months so that may have had something to do with it. i did notice the tabletops that would be sweet going the red direction too, looks fun.

but again, kudos to all who've had a hand in putting this trail together. it's far and above my crew's favorite place on this side of the state.

I was out there yesterday with a couple of buddy's as well. LOVED the new section. We had a couple of casualties out there, though:

I'm still a bit sore today...still all teeth :)

Hey, it's the 29+ Black Sheep guy! I was gawking at that sweet rig at the trailhead.

We really need a motion activated trail cam at that skinny entrance/exit on Sawtooth. I don't know how many have gone down there, but I bet it'd make for hours of entertainment. :-)

I'm betting you're right. It's the first time I've gone down there, but I've been witness to taco'd wheels and other 'quick exits'.

Speaking of the "skinnies"... exiting Sawtooth last night, what happened to the skinny portion when exiting on a red direction day? Did someone add water and the boards grew in length?

Rode it for the first time on Sunday and this trail RIPS. RIPS RIPS RIPS. Did three laps of the full trail in red direction....I could hear my side knobs ripping at the berms....it was awesome.

Question for the die-hards.....which direction has the longest downhills....or is it a wash?
