Blue longer by a couple miles but a tad more flat. Both are fine for newbies, but Blue has the advantage of a pond you can stop at for a swim...

Blue loop is longer but less technical than the yellow.

Trail was clear 7 a.m. - There is a "leaner" just after the bridge that parallels Kensington rd. as well as a few puddles - nothing major.

Was out today, before and during the rain. Rode blue. Trail was good, not too muddy, just a lot of puddles but they can be rode around.

Anyone out there this morning yet? Considering going to either Maybury or Island Lake this afternoon and trying to determine which is in the better condition. I'm sure due to the sandier conditions Island Lake is probably drier but if Maybury is doable I'd rather go there since I haven't been in a few weeks...

I rode Island Lake Blue trail only today and have to say while it is certainly ridable there are a lot of muddy areas. Most of trail is fine but there are some large puddles of standing water and some mud pits. I didn't blast through them so I stayed fairly mud free when finished. Trail conditions reminded me of early Spring. Nice to have the rain for the lawn and flowers but enough already. We now need our trails to dry out.

Well, after yesterday at Island Lake I decided to ride Addison Oaks today and I have to say it was absolutely perfect and nice and dry - NO mud or standing water, -FAST. Give it a try. It is such a great trail.

The trail was in pretty good shape tonight despite the rain. Only a hand full of wet spots.

The trail was fast last night too, me,,, not so much. Only a couple puddles.

The Strava times there are absolutely out of this world.

Heads up: As of yesterday there's a big tree over the trail on yellow, almost at the end before crossing the paved bike path. I did two laps, and it wasn't there on my first lap! But it was definitely there on my second :)
