Craig,
Last time I was out there about 3 weeks ago, they were pretty bad. Overgrown and lots of debris, stick jammed in my wheel and broke a spoke, haven't been back since. I do know Scott was out there last weekend with a chain saw cleaning up but not sure what all he got. Doesn't exactly answer your question but that's all I've got.

I rode the trails today to get an idea of where I need to focus and the trails aren't too bad. There are spots that need cutting, but the majority of the trails are fairly decent. There are a couple of low hanging branches on museum and there is a tree down on the tunnel. Anyone know what's up with all the water bottles on probert?

I saw those Monday night seemed kind of odd to be just water bottles dumped there.

i think that area seems to always have shady looking cars/ people . i have also noticed burn marks like they may have been cooking something.

I kind of thought it was drug related. Between that crap and riding past someone who was pleasuring himself while walking, it makes me not want to ride in there.

I ended up calling Ella Sharp (had to leave a message) about those bottles. Something I do not want to come across as I am riding out there. They returned my call to let me know they will look into it and possibly involve the police.

Cleared the large (very large) tree in the Tunnel section today. That was some work since the main tree drop the length of the trail and took several smalle to medium size trees with it, but 3 1/2 hrs later its all clear. All the trails could use some major trimming. I can't get back out for a couple of weeks, but after that I plan to tackle the overgrowth. Lots of new people out there riding recently.

Thanks, Jake. I have been planning on getting out to trim the trails for a while now. It seems like each time I make the plan to do it, something comes up. I had plans to do it this weekend, but pulled a back muscle fairly bad and yesterday was my wedding anniversary. Weather has been perfect for it and may try to get out there and do some of it today.

Cut the overgrowth on the museum trail yesterday. That ended up being the only trail I trimmed because I broke my weed cutter.
