That corner is dangerous. I've had a couple close calls there myself. People waiting at the light to turn right onto Haggerty have a tendency to be in a big hurry and are usually watching for northbound traffic instead of watching the crosswalk. She was even walking her bike through the intersection.

That is scary , since I enter the park from the i275 paved path also . I never assume cars will see me and wait till I find a gap in traffic :(

Trail is clear and dry.
Ran across Rich while I was there. He fixed a couple "chain-ring smashing" log piles by ramping up dirt on them. He also mentioned that he spent Saturday (in 97 degree heat) removing a bunch of trees that were once again blocking the trail.
Thanks again for your hard work and dedication Rich! You rock!

I rode there yesterday and there were a few muddy spots. The ramped up dirt log piles were nice. i cut some brances and did some weed wacking on the east loop.

Can somebody explain the east loop to me? Am I supposed to be following the path that runs up against the fence and the businesses? I saw several forks in the path that head down toward the river but after 100 feet or so, they all seem to end. Some look like there was a trail there at some point.

Nice job on the maintainance of the rest of the loops! They are a night and day difference from the last time I was there. It's obvious some people put alot of time and effort into them. Thank you.

East loop explained - for the most part, yes, the main trail runs along the fence. There are two old sections,
one that leads down to the gravel path (but, it's blocked with sticks) and another one that leads downhill to the BIG bridge (and river) that you can see from the top of said hill. Just go past those.

But, after you come out of the woods behind the industrial park, there is a left fork (if you're going east) that goes down to a tech section and then comes back up hill and joins the main trail again which is actually better if ridden the opposite way. When you reach Lilley road, look for a new sign (on tree) that instructs a rider on how to hook up with the Crooked Vulture connector trail which will take you back west to the West loop (look for the signs)

Hope that helps and thanks for the compliment on our hard work to keep this trail ridable !

I did a couple laps this morning and took some movies of each different section. All mud was gone and the trail was nice. As soon as I upload the videos (each was as long as the section) some 6 minutes or so, I will post them.

Sounds great ! Look forward to watching them. They will give new riders a better idea of what to expect.

Trails good. Bike is broke. Rear tire slid of a ramp at Lucky Dog, snapping the rear deraillyer (durailer . . . 'the railer' or what ever) arm. Had a nice walk back to parking lot.
This trail is bad luck for me.
