Just got back from trying out the new features with my daughter. Rock garden is nice (needs rain) and the bridge is great. Bridge is towards the end of yellow a few minutes before you come back out to the paved section. Definitely worth a couple rides.

Thanks for your help out there today, Mark!

I agree, this part (unlike the rest of River Bends) definitely needs rain. For anyone who wonders, we intentionally put a lot of dirt on it, and in many places it doesn't look like a rock garden yet. The soil we used compacts very well then firms up, so we expect it to settle in between the rocks and grout everything in place.

This rock garden was designed with two general lines through it, a harder one to the left and an easier one to the right, both funneling into the same straight section at the end.

After scouting the trail for the GOT Mtb clininc we came to the new bridge.

and I thought a 50' bridge might be too long......

Needless to say this portion of trail is not ridable and will need several days to dry out.

I would say about 70% of the trail is ridable.

Rode RB this evening and I would say that 90% of the trail is perfect and the rest is soft/sloppy in certain spots.
8"-10" tree down just before the "warning" DH but no reason to dismount.
The most of the soft/sloppy was right after the drop feature.
The final switch back sections and new pump bridge are good to ride with no standing water.
I would suggest AVOID the new section for quite awhile. It's bad news even for the fat tire riders. Pizza cutters, standing water, misquotes, foot prints and mud up to your ankles.

Edit-
By "new section" I mean the new part of the trail that was added closest the trail head.

PS. rock garden is starting to look like a rock garden not a sand trap.

I was looking forward to riding here, but it's too muddy. I went a 100ft in and the turned around. There are some sloppy track going further in.

RB still has quite a few sloppy muddy spots. I'd say about 80% of the trail is dry. I'm thinking a couple more dry days and the trail will be good.
