If I schedule a trail day for next Sunday how many people will show up? April 10th.

I may be skiing (last day Nubs is open) otherwise I will be there.

Be interesting to see how many people show up. Unfortunately the real needed work (reroutes and such) will not be happening.

Unfortunately I wont be able to make it. Wish you luck in getting a good, or at least a half-assed turnout.
If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem; now get off my lawn!

Jake,
Is that date confirmed? What time? I will throw it out to the JCA bike team members and encourage them to come out. (I'd love to make it a requirement for them but the VP won't allow it. :icon_aaargh: ) The kids and I will most likely be there.

If we can get people shw up it will be official. Time is what ever works best maybe 10 or 11 start time. I will set a definite time and official yes for that date this weekend when I can contact a few more people to see if they will help out.

Sounds like a plan, I would vote for the earlier start the better.

10:00am start time everyone meet in the museum parking lot. We will split into groups from there. If anyone happens to try and ride before then. Keep track of where any majr work needs to be done so those areas can be hit first. Thanks

Sounds good. Should we bring anything? Rakes, shovels, beer (oh wait, public park)?

Rakes definitely, leaf blower even better and chainsaw if you have one. My chainsaw is broke so I am hoping at least ne person will have one available to use.

Rode the trails and they seem to be in fairly decent shape other than the leaves and sticks. There is a good size tree down on the 1-4 trail just after the 1st bridge. One on the east river and smaller ones on the north. Also some trees hanging over trails that are supported by other trees. A few cops walking on the trails, but I don't think we will have to worry about removing them on the 10th. :D

I don't have a leaf blower or a chainsaw, sorry.

I may be able to get my dad to bring out his chainsaw if we have all the spots identified that need it. I will have to see if he is available. Let me know if you find anyone who has one and will be coming out.

I can bring a rake and some loppers. If there is no other trail work in Midstate that weekend maybe we can get a hold of the back pack blower. I can run up to Lansing and pick it up and bring it back up there if available.
