My mom's birthday is that weekend, so I'm not sure if I'll make it, but we'll see.

OK
We just got done with a lap of the singletrack this afternoon.
Here's the "Plan" for the trailday.

Pines: Hedge trimmer to clear some brush for next year. A couple of puddles need a little "Shovel Love". The boardwalk is falling apart. We will be addding some new supports under it.

Snakes: We will be tuning up the climb to the top. More Quickcrete and a little shovel work.

RollerCoaster: Clean-up fallen trees from the past summer and the past week. Fine-tune the exit of the new bench cut at the Bailout corner.

Back Nine: Clean-up downed trees. Trim a little brush near the end of the trail.

Plan to be hiking the trails more than digging dirt and you'll be all set. We hope to break up into at least (2) teams.

Thanks, Pete.

*Really* wanna be there, but can't. My iPhone set itself back *two* hours instead of one, so I thought I had more time. I still have stuff to finish up before I leave the parents'. :-(

Definitely let me know if you do more cleanup work. I won't be out of town next weekend. :-)

We got everything on the "List" done today, plus an improvement or two.

Thanks to Jude for bringing his dad out to help; Brad and his son, Mark, Norbert, Lloyd and myself.
We couldn't have done it all without Jude's help!

Also, a new tool was dropped off in the trailer. A brand new bike trailer was donated today....I forgot his name, But I think it's from Mike? (Whitey, you have his name right?)
We will need to figure out the bike mount, but I could see it being helpfull on trail days. It could be used to haul drinks or small tools out to the work zones....

Thanks again,
Pete.

By the way,
If all the volunteers from today could visit the CRAMBA website (Found on the MMBA.org homepage) and use the volunteer hours self-reporting link and fill in the blanks it would hlep a lot...
Thanks,
Pete.

Trailor was donated by madmike23
cool little trailer should come in handy, but of course we'd still rather he came out and pushed a shovel when he gets time.

thinking the trail should be good till well into the spring now,
barring any unforeseen visits by Ma Nature
( or somebody later in the alphabet than Sandy)
