Just go left at the sign, left again at the top which will bring you into the area referred to as "The Swamp" but it's not anymore the water problem has been fixed and the area trimmed up so it's fun to ride. Then when you come out of The Swamp just turn left again and head into the trail. After you come out of the trenches near the traditional end of the trail before the downhill two track turn left again into the skills area, ride the section there then cross the two track ride the section on the right of the two track then left again towards the end of the skills area accross the two track left and into the new section, when you finish the new section take a left to head down the two track then finally a right after the arrow and back into the woods to the big hill, when you finish you come out next to the swamp trail then left and back down the hill you started with or right and keep going. Hope this helps and don't forget to ride the connector trail to State Game area.

Ah. Got it.
Thanks!

Skills area is great....like a giant pump track in the woods.

The Ski Area is SANDY! It could definitely use some rain. I did see quite a few people out this morning though so it's getting a good amount of traffic.

Anyone find a black wallet in the parking lot tonight? (6/19) I was parked near the mtn bike sign along the grass. Thanks!

Was out here this morning for the first time, riding solo. Things seemed a bit sandy, not surprising with the lack of rain we've had. Had the trails to myself, which was good since I'm a newbie.

There were several trees down across the trail at one point. I don't know how to describe the location better than between a steep sandy hill that I had to walk up and the shortcut to the SGA.

Looks like "Picnic Pops" is starting next Thurs. I'm assuming the usual seasonal Thurs. / Friday closure to mountain bikes until the last show on August 3rd? Can someone confirm?

There's a sign up that "Picnic Pops" starts on July 12th every Thursday and Friday. Not sure for how long.

There's are very large tree (about 18" diameter) down about a 1/4 mile before the cut-off to CSGA.

When access gets restricted for "Picnic Pops", does that close the trail of just parking and access from the ski area? Will we still be able to ride if we come in via the connector?

Also the tree has been cleaned up, thanks.

In the past trails were closed during picnic pops. Not sure of the current situation due to the connector, but I imagine still closed. Thanks for letting us know about tree being cleared. Saved me carrying chainsaw out there today as I planned - in 100 + degree heat :) I'm silly like that.

Last year they would not let you enter the parking lot to ride after 4:00 pm. Not sure if that's the same format for this year

I will have an answer as to whether we can enter via the connector later today

Good news! I heard back from the Ski Area management today. It is OK to use the connector trail (Egypt Valley Rd. entrance) anytime while the Picnic Pops are happening, just don't ride down to the lodge after 4pm on concert days. The ski area main parking lot can be used anytime as long as it is cleared out by 4:00pm on concert days. The Picnic Pops started tonight and will run for four weeks. Thursday and Friday nights only.

Thanks for checking that out for us Rick, that is good news.

Rode it today and found it (and the game area) to be super sandy and getting rutted / choppy with brake bumps and such. but otherwise in good condition with no trees down and limited face slappers. Was hoping it would rain but only a very few tiny drops fell over here today, not even enough to get anything wet. :x

I found there to be similar conditions at Luton Park earlier this week.

I went to use the connector for the first time over the weekend and found a sign off Egypt Valley Rd. that read something like "Bikers, entrance closed due to erosion". Is this new or was I in the wrong spot?
