Yeah. And its not as daunting as it may seem at first. The trail system is pretty simple.

I was thinking of one way last night, but its not flying single track so I talked myself out of it.

But what are those wild flowers that smell like fresh laundry?! (Seems backwards...)

Trail was really nice this morning and I did it back and forth several times for 13 miles. no issues. Thanks for the weed trimming...no broken toes so far like I did several weeks ago out at Hickory Glen, ouch! :)

I rode last Wednesday evening, saw a couple of Gary's friends undoing some bandit work. A couple of local "bandits" decided to make a shortcut straight through an easy curve. Gary's friends put the deadfall back that was tossed in the woods. Most of the trail was pretty dry, with a small slightly muddy section between Lucky Dawg and the Wetlands.

I've actually "undone" that bandit shortcut 7 times. Hopefully they stop messing with it. It's still blocked as of yesterday afternoon.

Thanks to whoever weedwacked the East loop and the Crooked Vulture where it pops out along the power line. We were actually going to get at it on Sunday, so it's nice to see it already done.

Trail is dry as a bone in most areas now.
Come out and ride.

Rode there from my house this afternoon, awesome weather day. Did all the loops, saw James cutting some overgrowth on the big part of the South loop and then saw Jay22 on the East loop at the western top of the powerline hill on his still sparkling brand new white Fuji hardtail 29er from Sweet Bikes !
I rode back East on Crooked Vulture and left onto Lilley, then west on Ford, my usual street-MT-street route with random stop at the party store
I love mountain biking because I haven't found anything that is more FUN !!
Of all the paths you choose in life....make sure some of them are DIRT !!

Commuting miles in 2012 = 1065
Total road/trail miles = 2800

I got most of South loop trimmed back. Then moved over to the Dragon Tail to get where I'd left off the other day. Unfortunately my saw/machete/samurai sword fell apart on me and I lost the nylock nut. Hopefully I can find the right size metric nylock nut, so I don't have to spend another $25.

Salvaged the day with a quick lap. Met up with Rich in the parking lot and he helped me find some jewel weed (aka..touch me not) to sooth my moms poison ivy rash. He put some more concrete chunks in a few wet spots on the Crooked Vulture.

Also to note, my work blocking the bandit line on the West loop is still intact. Crossing my fingers that it stays that way.

Thanks for trimming all that stuff. Maybe we should all meet out there with some weed whippers and just go nuts.

It was good to see you out there today Cruz. Let me know when you plan to do any workdays or finish that skinny. I'd be glad to help.

trail was perfect this morning. Thanks for the trimming Santa Cruz. Someone threw a bunch of wood over the fence on the east loop near lilly, I moved it off the trail but we might be able to use some of it.

Trail was prime and rockin today! And smelled like freshly trimmed shrubbery. Thanks again to all who work, especially whoever works right before I ride so I don't have to work! (OP James, et al.)
