Mine are on the garage wall covering up some small dry wall holes.

Mine are in the grandsons' tree house. Well, except for my Lumberjack plates.

Their friend think it's cool that a grandpa can even ride a bike, let alone race. I don't tell them that I'm really just paying to ride with a group of friends. They'll come of age some day and figure it out on their own.

Mine are stapled all over the garage wall and inside the garage door. My favorites are the ones still covered in mud, from the early 2000's Pando and Cannonsburg races, and the O2S ones with red clay covering them, from the early wet years. The last few Iceman ones are pretty clean!

You would care if you did the races. When you get old and can't do the stuff you used to do you appreciate what you did do.

If you could care less, that means you care some. If you care some, then explain why, maybe others care as well. As for me, I could not care less.

I have 2, and they are up in the garage near my bike stuff. I did crappy in both races, but at least I got out there. Better than sitting on the couch eating nachos, although for Barry Roubaix this year, I would have rather been at home eating nachos.

Yet another refreshing quote from the mmba's very own grumpy old man! And when SNB was growing up during the depression, he used to walk 50 miles to an unheated one-room schoolhouse with no indoor plumbing with bark for tp .. in a blizzard .. and we LIKED it!

Saving numbers is pointless and for slow people to show their even more slothlike friends that make the mistake of visiting them what they do for fun.Betcha that's a dreary conversation.

Thanks for your opinion.
It's worth what I paid for it.

I have many (30+?) bibs from foot races and a few from bike races. The foot race bibs are in a shoe box waiting for some compelling future use. The Bike bibs are sitting in the garage waiting to be hung on the wall... someday. :)

Another side topic to this is race t-shirts. After so many races you can't keep 'em all. I have a garbage bag full of them in basement waiting for my wife to take action. She has been talking about making a t shirt quilt for me from race shirts... you know cut out the interesting bit of the shirts and weave them into a "motivational blanket". Her plan is to give it to me as I sit on the couch watching TV, as a reminder to get my butt up and moving again. The quilt I am looking forward to. :)
