I was just wondering about the number of racers for this year. Is it looking like a larger number than last year Brent? Two of us are coming down for it.

I see that its going to rain that day.. the bright side of that is at least it won't be too hot.

I see a slight chance forecasted. Let it rain....I love rain. Rain allows for a nice challenging mix of slick and tacky conditions at HH. This is all the better for us old mudder motocrossers. Bike handlers unite!

Never a good idea to count on the weather forecast that far in advance! However, I wouldn't be opposed to a little rain ;)

I wouldn't want too much rain. Not because I can't handle the mud (I raced B and age group Moto) but I could do without rebuilding my fork (again)or repacking my wheel bearings after this race. A little bit to make it tacky would be nice but I'm not looking for bald north unit after rain for 100 miles.

Cant wait. Already registered as a team and have a plan to come down with a mysterious illness friday at work that will require me to leave early...

Anyone worried about rain/mud, I dont think it is possible to get mud at Hanson. Course holds up well.

Just sharing what the Weather channel said thats all. (http://www.weather.com/weather/5-day/Gr ... I0349:1:US)... but if it does rain, it will make the sand a bit faster in my opinion.

I didn't think that rain would make it as muddy as I've experienced there. About 5 years ago the cross country race got poured on and it got quite muddy. Made for a fun race though.

A bit of rain is welcome on the course. It packs down the sand and makes the trail even faster. That race 5 years ago was nasty though. It was NOT a fun race, but don't expect that much rain for this weekend. Go out and have fun!
If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

Hanson holds rain really well, the race will be awesome! If we're lucky Brent will even have a new CD to play...

Rode a fair share of the single and double track Wednesday afternoon. Singletrack is in great shape. The new trail added a few years ago (outer loop I believe) has developed into some good fun and fast trail. Maybe it's my bad memory, but it feels faster than last fall. Trails were dry to very dry as can be expected.

See yall Friday night!
