Rode the whole loop once and the shortcut once. Very nice and super fast.

Rode the full loop this morn. Wind yesterday only left one clump of branches over the trail in the first mile, which I removed. No other windfall...the trail is clear and in great shape.

Full loop just before dark. Trail was smooth and fast, most likely due to the marathon runners who are training for the 4/28 race. Almost seems like with all the wind, that the fallen leaves are back on the trail. I noticed a fair bit of sand as I approached Patterson Lk Rd, Northbound.

Trees down before and after Doyle heading North and then again heading South. Total of four, I think. The last one was partially blocking the boardwalk. If I recall correctly, only the northbound trees forced dismounts. Vegetation is filling in thereby making the corners a bit slower, especially in between Hiland and Crooked Lakes.

Thursday - clear sailing on the full. However, one of the water bar poles, on the Blind Lake downhill, has come loose. Wasn't an issue when I went over it. My guess, is it will start moving downhill and a gap will open up. I didn't go back up hill and check it out, however.

I was wondering the same thing but made the trip over anyway this afternoon, trail was in pretty good shape, few slick spots here and there. However the foot traffic was heavy with runners going with bike traffic with earbuds in and some mtb'ers riding the trail backwards...that's what I get for going on a weekend afternoon.....

I feel ya. I try to avoid the Poto on weekends unless I am at the lake with kids, then Cooked is a nice 5 mile hike, AGAINST BIKE TRAFFIC. Weekends take away the great flow of Poto for sure.

Was on the trail @9:00 this a.m. Fantastic riding conditions and did not see a single biker on the full loop. No problems with the numerous hikers / dog walkers - they were all coming toward me and yielded. :) Perhaps Sunday mornings are better than Saturdays if you are going to ride on weekends?

I'm pretty sure this weekend is a big running race out there.

I always wondered which runners were going the right and wrong way. So it would be correct for runners to go against bike traffic? Wouldn't this make the blind corners a little more dangerous though? Since the gap between runner and bike would be closed faster?
