Well there are no official markers yet, but it's marked with some red flags, logs, chairs. There are couple places where you ride though the grass that could be confusing, other than that just follow the path :).

Whoever complained about Bishop Lake road must have complained loud enough because that got fixed.
The pine is still down as mentioned above. There is a ride-around developing.
I did check out the new loop. It does get a bit confusing when you get into the open grassy area. Everything else is easy to follow. Are you just supposed to do a loop around? I saw several off-shoots that looked very well groomed but they seemed to just lead down to the road. I wasn't sure if I was missing something or not. What I decided must be the trail was just a simple loop around in the meadow. The sections that pointed toward private property were well marked to keep out.

Anyone know what distance the new section adds? My phone app says around 1-1.5 miles. Does that seem right?

Oh....is there a purpose or story behind the tree fort at the beginning/end of the new loop?

I rode Murray today. It was great to refresh my memory on how fun that trail is! I don't know the trail all that well, but I didn't notice any new portions. Did I miss a section or something? Here's the GPS of my ride:

I did the one loop twice like I always do since it's a long drive for me and I like to get a little more time. Fun! Love this trail!

Makes me wonder if you know me! I despise Torn Shirt - you sound like my friends trying to get me fired up. :D

Seriously, did I just completely miss the new loop at Murray due to blinders on or something?

To reach the Lost Loop you have to head out to Bauer Rd though the campground and north on Bauer Rd a few hundred feet. The trail shoots off the west side of the road. The DNR is going to be building a connector bridge in the near future is all goes as planned.

Yeah, you missed it. It's actually part of the lost loop which you did find. Looks like that's the part you did twice. The new section is found by going straight at the 3.2 mile marker instead of the hard left. It's actually pretty hard to miss it. My guess is it adds a little over a mile and it goes up to the high side of that small pond that you got close to.

Looking at his gps data I would say he didn't miss the Lost Loop. Only the new added section which starts around 3.5 mile.

On wed there was a tree down on TS around 2m. It's a ways after the first 2 hard climbs just before what I consider the longest climb that has a ton of roots about 1/3 up and is somewhat off camber with downslope to your right. It's in the perfect spot to kill your momentum before the climb.
