Ugh, don't remind me until I'm not sore anymore.

I am punped about how i did this year! I have rode sport SS the last 3 years, 2010 and 2011 finishing in the 1:02 area and this year i went 56.XX, shaved 6 minutes off! See everyone at the Stampede!

Was the course shorter this year? I shaved 15 min off my time and I'm not so sure I trained THAT much more.

All the times seemed much quicker than they were last year from looking at the results. I'd never ridden there before yesterday so I have nothing to go on. Maybe the course was just quicker?

My guess is that multiple factors contributed to the faster times.... Course was in great shape, with very little sand, The weather was much nicer than last year, and I would bet that most people have gotten in a much larger volume of training as compared to last year due to our warm temps.

Right on. I remember it snowing as I was making my way up there last year.

And many of us have been out riding for weeks, if not all winter.

+1
the early start to the season probably helped not only the riders but also the trail this year.
