Action Alert: Waterloo Recreation Area

Postby Bento » April 22nd, 2012, 6:10 pm

I didn't know about the sanctioned Waterloo trail p00p parade. I couldn't figure out why Cassidy Rd was so bumpy as I was heading north after the "prison". Then I came to the trail crossing. Sort of ruined an otherwise long dirt road ride.

I took iPhone pictures and video. Was about to post up the evidence and started to look for this topic from last year. It looked like sandy a beach.

Oops caught me doing my normal grammar and curse word avoidance changes.

No, I only have the aftermath.

I'd like to get some before and afters or some comparison shots so we can create a document--or web page--demonstrating why equestrians and mountain bikers can't share trails on much of Michigan's trail surfaces. I also want to collect stories and pictures of trail days from around the state showing what we mountain bikers do as stewards of state and local parks.
