Roy, I don't think that we have the same idea here. Right before this section you were talking about is a skinny switchback between trees, then a big switch back, a little down hill, then a sweeping left turn. The berm is actually there already, but only the first half of it is solid. The second half is just worn down and sandy....(if anything I think this would be the safety concern because you carry speed around that corner and then you can wash out in the sand. ) So I'm not suggesting to make a new berm, just fix up the exsisting one.
Like I said, this was my sugestion for trail day. Not a random act of trail construction
