Just got done riding the trail and it is in awesome condition. Very fast. No mud. No bugs. Perfect.

Ground bridge repairs made on the east prairie trail. Think you'll like the change.

Avoid. Freeze thaw is making it a sloppy mess. Forecast looks for much of the same.

I am new to the area, is this trail dry yet?

The west loop seemed pretty dry when we were out there sunday, although we didn't walk all of it. Probably were some mud holes in spots in the first parts.
However it rained pretty hard since then.

I'm guessing but I would say the East loop is probably pretty wet still.

If you go the west loop is probably your best bet.

Went yesterday (sunday), rode the west loop and the trail is pretty dry only one damp spot but no standing water that I can remember. There are two trees across the trail.
I didn't ride the very begining, I took the two track over and cut into the trail.

Udog, I was out there Saturday.
Yeah the trail looked great and a couple I bumped into said it was all in good condition.
The east loop was a little squishy but still ridable.


I cut up two downed trees while I was out there. One on the east loop and one on the west loop.

Do you know where the ones where that you found?

Oh boy, ummm one was very near the switch back, can't remember if it was before or after, I think after. The other would have been pretty far into it, maybe 2 miles in or so a pretty large dead tree.
I plan on going back soon so I could look at my computer to give you an idea.

Yeah any land marks or features are helpful.
Mileage is perfect as I can look it up on my GPS map.

Trees Udog mentioned are cut. Trail was little slick in corners from yesterdays rain but minimal mudholes. Still ridable. Expect that the east loop will be slicker than west.

I just love this trail, I just can't say it enough. Good flow, solitude, what more could a mountain biker ask for. I can't believe more don't ride here. Oh well:)

Yeah, it's been our little secret for years
I didn't get out there over the weekend, but when I drove by I saw 4 cars with bike racks, so at least it's getting used more this year,
probably due to the new trail cordinator, THANK YOU !

Road saturday.
Trail was in great shape.
For whatever reason there a huge speed sucking mudhole has developed on the west loop just past the bridge in the woods.
I've got something for that.
