We will be having our spring clean up day on Saturday March 31st at 9:00.

Meet at Riverbend.

Bring chainsaws, leaf blowers, rakes.

I'm looking forward to getting out there. Hope you are too.

Thanks!

Bump for reminder. Also, we will be getting some press. A journalism student from MSU will be there to take photos for an article she is writing about our local efforts. Let's have a strong showing! Please bring rakes and leaf blowers. Thanks!

Planning to join the effort; I'll bring a chainsaw and some spades.

I will ride Anderson at 7:30 before driving to Riverbends. If anyone cares for a group ride, post here or just show up.

A huge thanks to everyone who made it out today: Billdozer, Steve, Shaun, Chris, Remke, Steve and his brother Nathan, Pat, Mike, Corey. It was great to see some new faces. Good to meet all of you. Sorry if I forgot anyone.

The trail is in good shape. We got it raked, cleared deadfall, put in some posts and signs and a new map, plus a short reroute.

I will talk to the park this week to get their blessing for an official opening. Thanks again for all the time and effort.

And Jenny too! Thanks again for all the hard work to everybody who showed up today. It was a long 8 hour day but we got a lot done, not much left to do now. Hope everybody liked their goodies. Big thanks to Bill for the Cliff Bars! They were a real life saver for me right around the 5 hour mark with no food, and thanks to John for the gift card to BikeWorks. Not sure if you were out there helping out at some point today or just drove through the lot. Either way it is greatly appreciated and I will have to swing by your shop and check things out.

Nice work, folks--I'm sorry I faded so fast. I had to save a little energy for afternoon errands and chores, too. It was fun to get outside and contribute a bit, and see so many new and familiar faces!

Hey man, you showed up and put in some work, that's all that matters. Thanks again.

Hope you got a little left in the tank for a ride tomorrow.

Oh, I think there's enough aspirin in the house to make that doable. The weather guessers have decided that there's a chance of showers for at least the morning and maybe into the early afternoon. I'll bet we can dodge 'em tho. Got a time in mind? Shall we leave it loose 'til we can get a look at the radar in the morning? PM me, if you like--keep the trail day thread tidy.

I'm planning on being at the Woodbury lot at 12:30. All are welcome for a slow and likely short ride.
If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
