This was probably the coolest looking snake I have ever caught. We let him go after a few pictures.

I't rare in teh spring and cooler summer days I don't see a snake if I go for a long ride. In fact I have seen as many as 20 at one of our water crossings. WE even have one of our Monthly meetings where we have a herpatologist come in and show us all the local snakes, and give advice on how to take care of a bite......Not to mention the scorpions, balck widows, trantulas, and brown recluses...man sometimes I miss Michigan.

If it weren't for the fact that we were racing, I might have let out a little scream. It must have been an anaconda (translation: it was a 6ft something or other).
