The Copper Ridge Riders Association and BikeLab have been asked to head up this year's Pumptrack Indoor Riding Area and we are super stoked!
Got dirt, tools, ditchwitch, just need bodies who wanna spend the weekend building a pumkptrack some jumps, riding and drinking beer... In January!!!
No experience necessary! Just willing to throw some dirt, ride it, shape it, ride again and have fun!
We had alot of fun doing it last year. Indoors, bikes, beer, mtn bike expo, fleamarket, and as much riding and digging as you like... in January!
The plan is Saturday build, ride, from morning till whenever... then hit the local watering hole! Sunday, is the Expo and we will be riding and playing in the dirt all day, till its time to, sadly, tear it all down!.
Bring your bike, any favorite tools you have, dress in layers (Its a big barn basically), there is concessions there, byob.
If you could, if your interested in joining us, would love if it everyone can post up when you can/want to be there, no pressure for any particular amount of time, just wanting to see when/where to be able to expect people to be there.

FYI, no beer on campus, but we will having a meet and greet Saturday evening at a nearby hotel.

Also, pump track building should start on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Uh Yaaa, Coffee, thats what were talkin about, coffee :wink:

Looks like we have some earlier access on Saturday, possibly! Woot-Woot!
BikeLab & The CRRA got some great diggers and riders rollin in both days, and
already got some good volunteering coming from the forum here, bring your
bike, shovel... coffee... and uh, probably should remind y'all to bring your helmets too.
Jeans, and hoodies perfect arena riding gear!, will be putting in the pumptrack, a jumpline
and a XC ring around the arena and concourse!

If we can get in at 8 then I might be able to help out!! Had a blast building it last year. The best part was watching the young kids having a great time on it!!! Definitely a reward worth the effort!

The feedback I've gotten from the pump track was from parents who were grateful that their kids had something to do. :-)

and lucky for us they demolish the track when we leave,
or my son would still be there.

i do hope to bust out another fresh build at the expo (a Hosford original)
and chances are there may be a smaller version of myself out there with his new bike too

logistics are too far for helping saturday, but i may push a shovel to maintain during the expo
