Whew ! What a day. I loaded up the truck with wood, my trail wagon, chainsaw and tools and headed to the trail.
Took out the downed tree on Crooked Vulture, the two trees in an inverted V on Buckshaver, prepared the long tree
you see in the picture that ibisman posted for a cool skinny option on the West loop (turned out to be more work than I thought) and added a 5 foot extention on one of the boardwalks on Lucky Dawg (it needed more length for spring puddles)

But, I saw/chatted with many of my trail friends along the way - Mike R, Dave, Jay, Jeff & his son (back on a bike, cool !)
and then on my way back to my truck from LD, Travis with his son in tow in a trailer. Nice unusually warm Nov day and it
was great to be out in the woods seeing so many people enjoying a day on the trail system. Time for some cold beers :D
I love mountain biking because I haven't found anything that is more FUN !!

Thanks, Steve. Can't seem to figure out how to directly post pics. Followed the thread and everything...

Yeah, I think it's my all time favorite trail tool, I am so glad that I got the model I did because it kicks a-s-s :D

But, hauling it a mile or so into the woods is no fun for the arms, so I solved that problem. Years ago before I
got into biking I golfed, frustrating and expensive sport. So one day I'm in my basement bike shop, started looking
at my golf bag cart and got an idea. Took the bag holders off, made a few brackets, attached a piece of plywood
to it and viola ! I had a light and easy to pull chainsaw cart. Just strap it down and go.

Stihl rocks !

Had the trails to myself for the most part, I ran into two other bikers out there today. It was a little slick in some spots, pretty muddy in others. I got to play with the new skinny feature today. Its pretty fun. I rode it about 10 times, and I moved some leaves away from it and pulled some of the picker plants out of the ground to avoid puncture wounds to tires, and people. I fell off the first time and got stabbed. Haha!

Nice day all in all.

Jay22, I may have passed you on Morton Taylor yesterday just before 3:30. You drive a white Towncar? I was coming back from an appointment in Ypsi and brought the bike in case I had time to ride. The trail looked a little sloppy so I only went to find Snake Leg and Maple. I found them and I like them. They are set apart from the rest of the trail but worth the short ride across Sheldon.. There's a lot more available land than I thought. I had to be in Northville at 4:30 so I was in and out pretty quick.
