What he means to say is - there is a lot of flow and momentum at Addison and laps can go pretty smoothly if you know how to use that to your advantage :)

Just a bit over 72 hours left to pre-register for the race. Save yourself $5 off the cost of day of registration, and save yourself some time.

Also, you can pre-order shirts for $5 less the the day of cost too.

Weather is predicted to be Most Sunny in the high 70s! Could be your last chance to enjoy some warm weather racing this year!

It's a great place for a first race. The trail is in outstanding condition and Pauly's been putting some finishing touches on it. With the bit of rain coming this week it should be in optimal condition come Saturday.

Same direction. With the next few days' unfortunate weather, the course will likely not get marked until Friday, but it's kinda hard to get lost (IMO).

Can you give me an idea of what the climbs are like? I'm from the west side of town and normally ride Pontiac Lake, Highland or Island Lake. I'm trying to decide on SS gearing for this race. I use 32/18 on my 29er but if there are no brutal climbs and a lot of flatter straight sections at Addison Oaks, I wouldn't mind a bit more top end. These old legs can only spin so fast.
Thanks in advance.

Great SS flow, fast, only 1 tougher climb, nothing like highland or PL.

I normally run a 34/18 at Addison (and most other east side trails). You'd be much better off @ Addison with a taller gear.

About 21 hours left to take advantage of the $5 discount by pre-registering for the race...

..and to make sure you get your shirt, also at a $5 discount over race day pricing.

Sure, it looks like crap outside, but the weatherman is calling for high 70s and sunny on Sunday!
