Did you rake the corners, remove all debris, and clear all low hanging branches? I would hate to spill my tea!

Actually Buffy, I have a paving company coming out tomorrow to smooth the entire course out for you with tarmac and I placed my best coats over all the possible places that could collect water if it so happens to rain so you will not get your dress dirty. In the event my fine coats are stolen or used for rubbish, I have the stable boys standing by to lay in the water for you so you can ride over them.

If it happens? Current forecast is 50%!

You better make sure they are small stable boys, because I am unable to ride over anything lager than a 5 year old. Don't ask me how I know!

I rode Brighton today and last monday and its hot as *beep*. The heat is altering my regular times. So... that floating bar by the crater.... will there be water there?

My 8 yr old son suggested we fill the crater with water for the race.

WallEyed wrote:With a sellout of 100 teams likely, racers may want to think about carpooling as much as possible. There isn't a lot of space to park at Lakeshore, so any help is appreciated. We had 75 teams last year, and it wasn't too bad. But, 25 extra teams could theoretically be 100 extra cars if people don't carpool!

Off Dixon, there is a ton of street parking back in the Pulte sub where cars could be stashed by teams that want to carpool into the park proper. The streets up at the north east end of the sub are homeless and the impact to the local residents would be pretty minimal.

I suspect they'll be far more traumatized by Ho's "Poison's 10 Best Acoustic Hits" playing at the crater...

That'll be super-easy. I'm doing 34x19 and it should be just about right for everything but the flat sections.

Perhaps, but I have legs that make Andy Schleck look like Thor Hushovd.
