Trail guides for MT grand re-opening 6-4

This request goes out to members of the Metro South and Poto chapters or anyone else that would like to help.

I am looking for 3 or 4 riders to come out to the Morton-Taylor trails during the big grand re-opening
on Saturday, June 4th to guide small groups of kids on bikes around the park system. No big obligation,
just give some friendly advice and guidance and ride your bike with them for 2 or 3 hours.

Steve Kinley is bringing out the old (replaced) Mountain kids trailer full of bikes for them to use and will
be handing out info on the MiSCA and taking donations for this worthy organization .

Look in the Ride Announcements forum for more details about this. It could be a good opportunity to
start a new generation of riders on the right path so to speak.

I'm thinking of meeting at 8:30am, meet with Steve when he arrives and get a game plan together.

Local riders would be the best fit for this and like you say, you know the trails.
I'm thinking of getting there a little earlier at 8am to meet with Steve and get a plan together.

A big THANKS goes out to Dave (ibisman), Mike R (mmrobertson69) and Rich Faunce for coming out to help me with the trail tours last Sat at the event. We didn't get as many kids or families as anticipated, but Rich and Dave took a few groups out for rides on some of the singletrack and gravel paths. I had a couple of lovely ladies
and Mike join me for the I-275 Metro bike path ribbon cutting ceremonies and there were a bunch of bike riders in attendance. The weather was perfect, it looked like it was well attended and many people got to learn about the trail park and the nice new bike path and how they can use it to get from Hines, the LRRRA park system and Michigan ave.
