2011 Cannonsburg Game Area Trail Work

We have been approved to do work at the game area throughout the 2011 season!!!. Along with regular clean up etc. 2 reroutes in section 3 can be done, getting rid of the nasty mat just before the parking lot at the end of sec 4 and a possible reroute around the nasty sandy beach is in the works. Also, we need to clean up and paint the kiosk and replace the trail info, maps etc.
Anyone that has agreed to adopt a section or is willing to help out please contact me asap (PM or email) so we can plan a meeting to discuss and set work dates.

Any word on trail days coming up? Was riding tonight and saw the slop and ruts in Section 3 thought of a few possible ideas for cleaning it up or maybe rerouting it, but I don't know what you have planned already. Would be interesting in brainstorming and pitching in to help. I've got 1-2 additional bodies for the task, too.

Awesome work out there this weekend everyone. Great turn out and I was happy to be a part of such a motivated bunch of folks working to improve a trail we can all enjoy. Great leadership and direction by Chris and Rick! I can't wait to get out and enjoy the fruits of our labors.
