Anyone know the elevation gain for Poto, Island lake blue/yellow, and Murray lake and Torn Shirt? Thanks in advance!

About 2,000 feet for Poto and 700 for ILRA blue/yellow taking the split.

Here's what my Edge 305 says for these trails (please don't judge me based on my times):

Torn + Murray + Lost (split 2 is Torn and split 3 is Murray + Lost)

ILRA

Poto (I rode this with a slow friend, but I'm still slow too)

The 305 uses a barometric altimeter so it's suppose to be pretty accurate.

Can someone tell me about the Calories part of these charts? How is this figured into the equation? Height/weight entered? Wife is very interested to know about this.

I've been trying to understand the calories on these devices as well. After looking around on other forums and sites it seems that the Garmin Edges only use speed and time to calculate total calories burned. Those who have worked with PowerTap hubs say that the actual calorie numbers are about half of what the Garmins claim. I believe the number is independent of weight, so if you are on the bigger side (such as myself) the numbers are closer but figure 60%-70% of what the device says instead of half.
