Hmmm, is it just me...or at a couple of those start pictures, does it look like everyone's praying for Robert to start them so they don't freeze in place?

It felt like a race in Siberia! (I've been to Siberia, so I can relate)

Doug - you seem to have caught the racing bug, eh?

Yes, I guess I do have the bug. Now I just need to finish a race, I got a flat this one and had no spare...

I took something like 40 pictures with someone else's digital camera. There were more, but about that many turned out. Hopefully he'll see fit to post them....

OK....I'm told the pictures I took should be posted on the board around the end of the week, after Wingzz gets back in town.

Sounds like...

Postby WishIcouldcatchmybreath » January 28th, 2003, 1:09 pm

they're one and the same. That was my first-time using a digital camera - the two second delay from the moment the button was pressed really took some getting used to. I'm surprised that so many turned out OK. I did have a fair number of "blank" shots since the rider left the picture area before the camera took the picture!

Tom,
I guess Wingzz didn't forward you the whole set of pics? There were others that were more "up close and personal" in the woods - the riders were bracketed by 2 large trees. Those were better than the ones on the hill.
