Another "strange encounter" in the wilds of Livingston Co.

I was feeling a little devilish so I decided to drag my hairy riding buddy thru h3ll and subject him to a little bit of kitschy Americana.
We started out from the old Rail station in Pinkney and headed out onto the dirt roads north of town and zig zagged thru the scenic countryside 'til we wound up in Gregory.
After a short break for some nutritional intake we headed toward the Poto. Since "BigfootDenny" had never been to H3LL Mi. I figured it would worth a quick stop where we could act like a couple of tourists. We hit a couple of short stretches of the Poto and some paved roads and ended up with about 40 miles of good riding.
As much as I love mountain biking on our excellent network of trails in S.E. Mi. I also really appreciate the miles of country roads that are so readily accessable. If anyone else is interested in some backroad cyclocross/MTB adventure give me a shout.
CycloDan, tourguide (will work for beer :D )
I'm not a comlete idiot, some parts are missing.

Hey !! I resemble that remark ! Yup ... we're lucky to have such great backroad dirt riding available out our way... and getting lost in the country can be loads of fun, although it doesn't usually end up leading you into H3LL ! I've lived in Brighton since '86, and it took Cyclodan to finally pull me into the depths of purgatory... "nice job, Dan". CX bikes rock ! Let's go get lost again soon.....

So did you eat at the Country Pub or the Gregory Inn or stuff yourself at Mugg and Botts? Did you browse through the resale shop in Gregory?

Nope.... this was all about the ride... we did share Cyclodan's secret "Quarter Shots" as part of our nutrition regimen, though... be sure to ask Dan about them, though I'm not sure he'll divulge the secret source of his stash....
