We didn't see the "StumpMonster" this time tho'...
...I was feeling a little devilish so I decided to drag my hairy riding buddy thru h3ll and subject him to a little bit of kitschy Americana.
We started out from the old Rail station in Pinkney and headed out onto the dirt roads north of town and zig zagged thru the scenic countryside 'til we wound up in Gregory.
After a short break for some nutritional intake we headed toward the Poto. Since "BigfootDenny" had never been to H3LL Mi. I figured it would worth a quick stop where we could act like a couple of tourists. We hit a couple of short stretches of the Poto and some paved roads and ended up with about 40 miles of good riding.
As much as I love mountain biking on our excellent network of trails in S.E. Mi. I also really appreciate the miles of country roads that are so readily accessable. If anyone else is interested in some backroad cyclocross/MTB adventure give me a shout.
