The NIMBA (northern indiana mountain bike association) says that the trail is in good condition...except for a boggy area. I would say its a go!!!!!!!!

Not a problem. The only reason I know about them is because I used to work down there....and rode with them occasionally. It seems they have adopted TK.....since we tend to neglect it

Rode Lawless on Saturday. whomever's taking care of the trail is doing a great job, the place is flawless.

Make sure you ride the actual Mt. Bike trail to the right of the parking lot. We didn't see it until after riding the hiking trails and the sun was going down! Hope this helps someone get out on the right trail! Maybe going back tomorrow.

I will post a reply.....since I rode there today.

We hit TK this morning for a lap and the trail is in awesome shape. Not the sandy trails that I am used to here in SWMI. There is sand out there....but nothing in comparison to a Cannonsburg Ski area trail. The trail is clear, dry and fast. At least I would assume you would think it was fast...because I am not.

The heavy rain of last week doesn't seem to have affected TK Lawless. All dry, in great shape with less sand than usual. Even the low-lying areas were dry.

btw, there is a big sign on the way into lawless that says:
All Bike Trails Are Closed

Greetings to our fellow riders north of the border! Spring is here and Lawless is now open! Many thanks to Scott Wyman at Cass County Parks and perhaps a tip of the hat to the folks at Nimba. The trail is dry and free of any obstructions. There is a work day planned for the 28th to do a re-route. Any and all help would be appreciated. But as is, the trail is in great shape!

Trail is in great shape! Big thank you to all MMBA and NIMBA volunteers that work on it! One boggy spot, about three miles(??) in to the trail. Other than that, trail was clear and fast. Watch out of the overhead window makers! Alot of large trees blown over, horizontaly, over the trail. These trees are big and are ther permanently. Myself and brother-in-law (6' 2") cleared everything just by ducking down a little. Some nice climbs, the roller coasters and some fun downhills! Again, great job volunteers!

Does anyone know if there is going to be a TT there this year? It looks like Tailwind dropped it....but there is wind of NIMBA doing a race there?

As a matter of fact NIMBA is planning a time trial on Sunday June 7. I will post times when I know them.
Just to mention, the trail is in excellent shape. To early for bugs and the briars aren't a problem.
