This last weekend headed up to a friends place near grand bend, ontario. I decided to bring my bike even though last time (oh about a year ago)I just was ride'n locally. Although I did get some miles in I only had to dodge cow turds everywhere. This time I wanted a little more fun and I happen to run across this gem online , printed out maps and completed the run. This was a very fun trail and was well worth the 1 hour drive time to get to this trail. (near lodon)
Highlights - Awesome trail map very good directions posted. Difficult parts were all outlined correctly.
A wobble bridge like those ones on the big toys (kids playgrounds)
Great views of the lake with really nice rest areas
not a drop of trash ...anywhere
perfect fast single track
and best of all a bike wash ... a nice little stand that craddles your bike with a hose all mounted on a nice slab on concrete. This made my park fee worth it = P
reminded me of old P.Lake in some sections ... most of the tech trails where grouped in one area ... not to many hills but it had about 3 decent ones (depends on the days you go cause odd /even days the trail flow reverses direction).

Can be fun for all skill levels even though its listed as intermediate. Some road is included on the trail map but not to much. Like I said a pretty fun ride 16.5 miles on the full loop.
After talking to some people I heard there is another trail very close to grand bend but had no luck finding it. I also looked into the pinery camp ground and that was lame. So if anyone might know about this trail please let me know cause it would be nice to hit somethign closer.
