For the Segar stuff the old stuff is best Persecution Smith,Sock it to Me Santa but the topper is Heavy Music Pt.2 but it's gotta have the Dr.Jack Van Impy sex and drugs intro.

All of these songs and a ton of other Detroit area garage rock(not to be confused by the current new wave of Detroit garage rock)like The MC5,Tim Tam & The Turn-Ons,Unrelated Segments,Question Mark & The Mysterians and many others are on an old bootleg comp titled Michigan Brand Nuggets on Belvedere Records Catalog# TY8-7100.Anybody get the record co and catalog number joke?????

Neil Diamond-Littlebike do you want a song performed by or written by?
I would go with Kentucky Woman for the pure Neil Diamond, can't be all that bad if Deep Purple covers it...

Those are some new names from that era that I hadn't heard of. I've become a Detroit rock fanatic of late, too. Hmm. More research.

The catalog number is the old Belvedere phone number. I remember those commercials during the Channel 9 CBC movie show.

Dennis, Get it right. It is, "Brandy, you're a fine girl....."
- by Looking Glass

I drove my wife nuts one summer with my obsession with that song.

My personal favorite would be Sweet Caroline, that is a great sing along song. you can dance to it but you certainly can sing to it.[/b]
