Post trail conditions and problem reports for the Greenville Shearer Road Trail.

I went and rode it with the guys yesterday. It's most of the way in, just needs to be ridden-a lot.... At about the 4 mile mark or so there are one or two places where it gets a little sketchy but you can follow bike tracks pretty easily. It will be big fun to watch this trail morph as time goes by. I wish i could hit fast forward and be riding this trail next summer right now! Thanks to Benny, Rick, Jeff, Randy and everyone else over there. It's really gonna' be cool!!!!!!!

What is the trail like? Does it have much climbing? How much snow did you get in Greenville?

The group ride Sunday turned out well,6 of us I think made some circles (sorry no pics), I would say that about 80% of the trail has an inch or less of snow on it right now,pedaling is a little tough in spots but you can go pretty well for the most part.

I rode here for the first time today, liked it a lot. Benny, Randy and the boys did a great job. And they even had the trail groomed, who else does that?!? This trial is not as tight or technical as Edwards but is still a blast. Get out there this winter and check it out.

We did the Shearer road trail and then the Edwards Creek trail today.Both trails are complete,dry,and ready to ride. You can park at either trail head and do both trails for a total of 16 miles.

We shot over from EC to give it a try today. Unfortunately, due to unexpected circumstances, the time we should have been checking out the rest of the trail was spent in ER instead.

The trail is getting faster every day, I turned a 30 minute lap the other night, not bad for a chubby smoker eh !

I know I saw directions somewhere before, but can't seem to find them - where is the trailhead? I've ridden Edwards Creek, and want to hit both.

The trailhead directions are about half way down this page,or at the top you will find a link that reads "trailhead directions"

Got out there again on Sunday,,,,

All the new dirt soft spots are firming up very nicely. The 2 new log piles are sweet and the new skinny suspended over the big pit is quite the head trip!

As usual the Greenville gang is doing an outstanding job on this trail!!!
Big Thank Yous going out to Troy, Randy, Benny, and everbody else that's been slaving away on the Greenville trails!!!
