Need triathalon info

Do they have a clydsdale type class for these type of races? And do they have beginner races that are shorter than the Hawai Ironman that I saw on NBC last week. 2.5 mile swim, 120 mile bike ride  , 25 mile run.. CRAZY..but I would be interested if they had a shorter version for us full size individuals

Yes, some triathlon races have Clydsdale classes and yes! there are MANY races that are not Iron man distances.

Check out Ann Arbor Tri Club (they have a website, not sure the addy) for more information about stuff in your area. Check out cooltri.com for more info in general.

Karen thanks for the info! There are lots of races. Might have to get into a tri or du in Ann Arbor this summer just for fun.

Check out:

www.cooltri.com

They've got the schedule broken out by state and by distance etc. There's something there for the pro and the never-ever.

The Ann Arbor Triathlon (check the post subject heading). Sorry, that didn't come across very clear. I tried to get in a couple years ago but it was too late. Last year I signed up early. It is the first triathlon of the year around here, and the run (on the Crooked Lake Trail at the PSRA) rules!! It is a road triathlon (booo) but at least the run is on a trail.
