I know there is a bike shop in Fenton that was mentioned on this board a few weeks ago and I'm looking for their address.I know somebody here can let me know.I'm replacing brake pads on my Avid mechcanicals and I would like to check this shop out as well.Thanks ! :)

how long did your pads last? the set that came with my discs wore out very fast. and at $20/pair they were pricey to replace. i got the harder compound this time, but they don't stop as well. i know a couple of real brake companies are making replacement pads. i'm going to try one of those next time.

New rider=quickly worn pads.Probably should have changed them sooner then now.I'm concerned about the condition of my rotors.Bought the bike last April and we rode hard ever since on the Poto.Which led me to helping repairing the trail when the oppurtunity presented itself. Newbie guilt from to much brake application :oops: Heck,you should have seen the "new"tires midway through the summer.Tread,what tread :shock: Thanks for the info on the address.Heading that way Th.
