Excellent Trials Demo !!

Littlebike, thanks for organizing the excellent trials demo with Chris Santos.

He was amazing ! What skill, what daring, what showmanship. I've never
seen someone jump so high on a bike like that before and his accuracy
is sharp, especially when he was jumping around that guy on the floor.

It was a really cool bonus entertainment feature to the meeting.
I'm thinking about attending the big competition coming to Flint.

This is the first time I have ever seen trials riding. All I can say is "wow" :o

I can't see how it's humanly possible for Cris to do the vertical leaps that he does, nor have that much awareness and control of his bike. Absolutely incredible. I'm not sure how many people noticed, but after the little volunteer demonstration that I was lucky enough to take part in (and even luckier that I was unscathed), I had Cris' tire mark on my forehead. While hopping on his back wheel, the guy lowered his front wheel down and just "kissed" my forehead with it. Holy control! I wasn't as nervous about that as I was he brought his front wheel down over my member/package :shock:

Littlebike - Thanks for putting this thing on. I'm going to try to make your trials competition, too, as a spectator. The demo bike you had seemed pretty affordable, though...hmmmm...

It was nice meeting people from the BB - Sherpaboy, Steve Kinley, Dan Harrison, Todd Scott, HID Kevin, Littlebike Brian McNamara & April. I didn't meet Average_Mike, but someone pointed him out to me. I didn't realize he was a young kid (young's relative...I'm about to turn 32). Average_Mike - I was quite impressed with your trials abilities, too!

Thanks to everyone who helped put together this great event. I had an incredible time.

P.S. - I also picked up a low-budget crankset w/rings for $1.50 at the swap meet...how cool is that?

Great show indeed! Thanks for letting me ride your bike Dale! You can count on me registering for the flint event, now I gotta go practice. :)

Thank you, Chris Santos, for putting on such an excellent and entertaining performance at the Annual Meeting and Exposition! :D

Thanks also to "LittleBike" and the crew who made it all happen! :D

The trials demonstration added an exciting new dimension to the Show this year!

Thanks craig, just wondering, who pointed me out to you? Was it Ian(sugarrider) or Brian N.? BTW, I was in the second row when cris left a tire mark on your head! :lol:

Jerry Serra pointed you out to me. I guess he met you at the BBBB. He also said that you've gotten a ton better at the trials stuff since then.

It was a great experience, I know Cris enjoyed himself and the cheers of the crowd. There were several people who made this possible including:

Harve Seeley and Todd Scott for mentioning it.
Cris Santos for wanting to do it.
Most importantly, Ken Schmidt for volunteering to pick up Cris's stuff and transport it to and from the meeting!

The success of this, like so many other endevors of the MMBA, cannot be simply given to one or two people it was the work of several.

I really want to thank Ken for coming through for us this weekend.

I dove for the corners of the room when you asked for vol
unteers....I saw Todd S. hide in a similar manner too....It took every ounce of will power to not flinch the last time I "volunteered" for a Santos - however, the latest volunteers [the last kid moreso] were real troopers and hung in there for the whole thing - wow! It never fails to amaze how Chris does what he does. My voice is still raggy from all the bellowing I was doing that day...

Nice job guys..!

You ride a bike for so long and you think you know what's possible. Chris just shattered those limits. It was so impressive.
