host your picture here:

http://www.imageshack.us/

then click the "IMG" button above so it says "[img]"

after "[img]"%20paste%20the%20direct%20link%20to%20your%20image%20from%20imageshack,%20then%20click%20the%20"IMG"%20button%20again%20to%20close%20the%20tag,%20so%20"[/img]" comes up.

the line should look somewhat like this (only with no spaces):

and your picture will look like this:

What if my filter at work blocks that site? Any other way to post a picture?

There are other picture hosting sites out there that will do the same thing. www.smugmug.com is one. Just be aware that some don't allow for (or make you jump through hoops to) reference pics from other locations.

Since he asked, why do you have to host the pic somewhere as opposed to upload from your pc?
I'm gonna guess it's a bandwidth issue ?

Holy Cow I think it worked! Can someone please confirm they can click on my thumbnail in the previous post and open a larger view of my Specialized Epic.

NoI don't get it. I notice these instructions are old (2004).Is there another method to posting photos, or a different website to place the photos?
