Wow -- Is the weather finally right for this ride to happen again? I'm thinking so...

Yup. And fireworks after if you are interested. Borden park. Festival of the hills is tonight as well. Borden is just south of bloomer on John R. If I didn't have to take the wife and kid. I might of considered riding the stoney group ride. Mills for quick bite.night ride bloomer and hit Borden after for fireworks. Then ride Home and avoid all the traffic. Just a thought.

Edit to add. If you do eat at the mills. Pay w cash. I ate there last Thursday night. Used a card I almost never use to pay. By Sunday some douche in royal oak used a fake card w the same numbers in royal oak to buy 550 dollars of merchandise from the Meijier there. And super props to Flagstar bank fraud protection for catching it and shutting it down on a Sunday evening.

I wonder what shape the trail will be in for tonight's ride after all the rain we've had?

FWIW, they got ~2/3" of rain yesterday between 11A-2P, and have had pretty steady winds and lower humidity since. Other than a few spots in the Pines, I'd expect the conditions will likely be much like they were before the rain. Most of Stony drains really well.

As Bob said the pines as to be expected however, there is a limbo tree at the end of the long bridge. Luckily this is a rather slow section. Also CAUTION!!
there's a tree down in the coaster just before the first log pile in a very fast downhill section.

I'm heading out to ride. I may not meet the group at the lot, but I plan to catch up at some point.

Update somebody moved the tree in the coaster in between laps.
