i am getting preliminary reports that the MOT is crap too. :( There is someone doing some recon, so I will try to keep everyone apprised.

2nd alternative is the Bikini loop/road at Stony, but I am unsure as to how the Park Police will view that. Anyone know for sure? :?:

The preliminary reports were apparently accurate. MOT is NFG.

I'm considering starting from 25/Shelby and hitting the Bikini loop. Maybe I'll someone out there. :P

Met up with Dennis and his friends, then had them take a wrong turn. They let me follow them anyway, once we got back on track. :D

I think I saw you folks last night. There was a crew of about 8 flat-bar bikes rolling into Stony via the paved trail around 7:00 PM.
We were just on our way out after doing some trail gnome stuff for a couple of hours....
Pete.

If that was you that slowed for us to cross, then yes that was us. We only had 5, but 2 were very large so I can understand your confusion.

I was apparently one of the 2. And thanks for pointing out the obvious. *beep*.

Any alternatives in mind? I was considering this route, but I can be persuaded otherwise. :)

Thanks, but that would have required some pre-planning. Enjoy! :)

I'd be up for a MOT ride, but I'm not sure I can make it yet or not. I won't know until later.

EDIT: Sorry, I'm out. Picking a friend up from the airport tonight.

The MOT it shall be, but as no one has piped up, I'll likely start early and see if I can't get back before dark. Enjoy the sun while it's here! :icon_sunny:

Last year, we did a Metro Beach ride from Baraboo. Any interest in doing that this upcoming Wednesday?
