It was a frame grabber style of rack with the Thule brand key, silly of me to trust it but it appears by some decent sized smudges on the downtube near the BB that they just forced the clamp open somehow. Amazingly they didn't do any damage to the rack itself or my car getting it off.



Wow! I would see if Thule's warranty will cover. I just got a t2 hitch rack so I may invest in second lock.
