Heading up this weekend for some down hill and XC skiing. Will there be snow?

Skied Hartwick Pines (excellent conditions) and Big M (icy) over the weekend. Both places looked like conditions were going downhill fast. Huh huh.

Matt from what my friends up there are telling me you may be better off taking
your bike instead of xc skis. Vasa xc course has some bear spots on it. But they
are supposed to get some snow Friday, above freezing till then.

Hi Mack,
Vasa is part of the Iceman trail in traverse. We're going to Harbor Springs area, about 85 miles north of there. I hear things are looking good up there. Do you know anyone up in that area?

Yup I am aware of were Vasa is at. Quite often areas close to lake Michigan don't get the
lake effect snow it drops farther south. At times these areas close to the water will have
quite abit less snow then other areas. Don't know anyone in that exact area, close as I can
come is Belleaire and he said you should be all set they are supposed to get dumped on Friday.
Have you ever skied Kipp Rd NCT ? Big fun when condtions are right. Also the Jordan River Pathway
is stunning in the winter gorgous scenery.
