So I got tired of this frame sitting around not getting used, so I jumped on a deal and threw some wheels and a chain on it. Have a square taper crankset and bullhorns to put on it, but didn't get to that tonight. Not really sure if I'm fixie material, but it's feeling like summer and it could be fun to cruise around on. I do still want to get a freewheel and larger volume tires for a "ghetto-cross" of sorts eventually, but I'll give this a shot for a while.

Well, finally got it all together. Took it out for a spin this evening. It's fun to ride. I was worried about the gearing, but it felt okay on the few small hills I rode. Going downhill is still a little scary...

I still think that I'll eventually spin a freewheel on it, add some brakes and some knobbier tires and gravel grind with it, but this is a fun interim state :-)
