2010 Triple Trail Challenge

Hey, I am fairly certain that this year's TTC ride is taking place on Sat. Sept 18th with a rain date of the 25th.
Is that correct ?

Yes. As of the last chapter meeting, TTC is 9/18. However, the schedule I saw noted Sunday 9/26, not Saturday 9/25 as the rain date. I'd guess that 9/25 is the right rain date, but that needs clarification from the powers that be.

Can someone confirm the rain date as the 25th or the 26th? We are planning a memorial ride at Highland for Carlos in Metro South, and we do not want to interfere with this if at all possible...

froggy, as far as I know, it was exactly a week later than the first date making the rain date the 25th.

We'll be doing the triple D if it occurs- UD Mercy FDriday night, Beat The Train at 6 am and then Tour de Troit at 10 am. But, if there is no Triple D, we'll be at the Triple Trail! I love the Waterloo area (but Lakelands trail, too bumpy ... ).

By the looks of it right now, we should have a good sized group of riders from Toyota Tech Ctr showing up for the festivities, many of which haven't done it before. I hope that we have the same great weather as last year !
Looking forward to it again, thanks to everyone putting the work into this classic epic beer soaked trail orgy.

Well, what can I say, but thank you so much for what made this ride what it was today, even with the rain and resulting mud which made it for me personally one of the most challenging Triple Trail Challenges I've ever participated in ! The wet conditions made the trail and roads slippery and tougher to get through and added to the "challenge" part.

not to mention the continuing support that you and your shop provide to the Poto Chapter and this annual ride !

Bill Mayer for getting the word out and organizing/performing the work and preparation that needs to be done so that no rider gets lost along the way. Did Jason Jones mow the grass on the Waterloo-Pinckney section again this year ?
If so, thanks so much for your contribution, if not, thank you to the person that did. Man, those bridges were slippery!

Thanks to whomever made the delicious chili that was served up to us hungry bikers and to Ann Arbor Brewery for the excellent post ride hoppy refreshments, it was SO good today after that slog through the muddy singletrack/dirt roads.

I saw & talked with everyone from the Poto Chapter that I wanted to see - Bill Mayer, Scott Mulder, Michael & Frank Connelly, Jay C., Norm, Bernie Smith, Barry BS and saw a few new friends - Sherri and her friend Pam and Dan (toobad).
So you could say a good time had by all (looked like a big turnout) and see you again next year.
